The 14th European Platform for Roma Inclusion, taking place online on 20 and 21 September 2021.
The conference is organised by the European Commission, Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers. It will be an opportunity to discuss the new national Roma strategic frameworks, their connection with mainstream policies, the optimal use of funds to support the policy, and how to tackle main barriers to inclusion and equality such as antigypsyism and the impact of Covid-19 on Roma communities.
The European Platform for Roma Inclusion (EPRI) aims to stimulate cooperation and exchange of experiences among all relevant stakeholders for equality, inclusion and participation of Roma people in Europe. The Platform contributes to making both European and national policies more inclusive and reflecting better on the Roma needs. The 2021 EPRI facilitates a consultative participatory forum at EU level where the voices of stakeholders can be heard. It provides an opportunity for the main stakeholders of the Roma inclusion process to discuss and reflect upon the most impactful challenges affecting Roma people in Europe.
