Join an SMT Digital Campaigning Certificate Intensive 3-week program, which is an essential online training for every staffer to build people power & justice in the digital age. The program will cover organizing strategy and tactics connecting online and offline power; social media; online ads; email, texting, and other outreach tools; effective narrative, visual, and video content; and the systems underneath it all, such as member databases/CRMs. It is right for organizers, communicators, fundraisers, campaign leaders, and anyone who wants to build more powerful, integrated online/offline campaigns to win.

The program includes:

  • A team of instructors with deep experience incorporating online and offline tools and tactics effectively into winning organizing campaigns

  • A hands-on learning approach, including breakout groups, case studies, and optional assignments for each session

  • 30 total hours of time commitment over 18 sessions over three weeks, Tuesday through Thursday

  • Individual written feedback and a 1:1 coaching session for each participant following up from the training to support implementing what’s learned

  • Digital Campaigning Certificate Level I or II awarded to participants who complete 5 or 10 assignments
