It’s well understood that advocacy methods developed for projects are poorly suited for understanding the process and outcomes of advocacy campaigns. The problem is that there are not many good resources that are well suited for the task.
A great exception is a recent paper by Rhonda Schlangen and Jim Coe, "No Royal Road: Finding and Following the Natural Pathways in Advocacy Evaluation: No Royal Road: Finding and Following the Natural Pathways in Advocacy Evaluation - Center for Evaluation Innovation.
The authors are going to discuss the paper via an October 23 webinar hosted by the Advocacy Accelerator – which has become a great resource for advocacy learning and networking, with a special focus on Africa. https://advocacyaccelerator.org/event-opportunity/webinar-invite-finding-and-following-the-natural-pathways-in-advocacy-evaluation/
