Land Rights Challenge Fund from Cadasta

Cadasta announces the launch of their new Land Rights Challenge Fund to help partners access and leverage Cadasta’s innovative tools and services to document land and resource rights worldwide.

The Land Rights Challenge Fund will feature multiple grant opportunities through 2021, each designed to advance land rights and tenure security for vulnerable populations around the world. All grants will enable the use of Cadasta’s tools, including mobile applications for data collection and web applications for data management and analysis. Grantees will also have access to Cadasta’s high-quality imagery, data layers, dashboards, and analytical tools for monitoring, advocating, storytelling, and reporting.

The first opportunity under the Fund is the Data Accelerator Grant to help partners overcome challenges and barriers to their data collection efforts. With small catalytic grants of up to $10,000 USD, Cadasta partners can expand the impact of household and community geospatial and attribute information to advance efforts to secure land tenure and resource access.

The Land Rights Challenge Fund launched today, and is now accepting applications on a rolling basis for the Data Accelerator Grant program.

Learn more about the Data Accelerator Grant application process, requirements, and selection criteria and have your questions answered by Cadasta staff in the upcoming webinar on Thursday, November 14th at 8:30 am EST. Register to attend the webinar here.
