Lecture Series on Climate Change and the Law, organised by Centre for Constitutional Rights, an initiative of Human Rights Law Network

The Centre for Constitutional Rights recently started it’s International Law Lecture Series with lawyers and activists from leading Civil Liberties organizations sharing their experience with leading cases/litigation on various constitutional rights in their courts.

The Centre is pleased to announce a lecture series on Climate Change and the Law. The third lecture in the series is on 17.7.2021 from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm by Mr. Mohan Raj, Founder & Secretary of Save Coimbatore Wetlands. Mr. Raj has been working to create awareness on the conservation of the environment, forests, rivers, and wetlands. Further, he actively works with tribal communities in securing forest rights in Tamil Nadu. He will be speaking on ‘The need of wetland conservation and its legal provisions’.
