You will find we are friendly and open in this community. This a safe space where you can make new friends from around the world and keep in touch for solidarity, learning, sharing and collaboration.

Here in this topic we bring together new members to celebrate your arrival and make it easy for you to introduce yourself to the community and ask your questions.

right now i am working on:

  • Solutions at Desmond Tutu Refugees Reception Centre, Pretoria - South Africa, (the rights of refugees are totally abused here in South Africa, firstly by the UNHCR and secondly by the government it self so it need some short of standing for refugees rights in general).
  • UNHCR Invisibility in South Africa.

@Adepotter I’m sorry to hear that you are having issues with gender-equal pay and are unable to speak openly with your boss about it. Maybe @Abi, @amiekandeh, or @fatimaadamu have advice to managing this conflict in the W. Africa context?

Can you describe the difficulties you’re having updating your profile? It’s important for all members to be able to keep their profile and bio up to date, and also helps for everyone to set their picture in the forum.
