A recent working paper from Cheyanne Scharbatke-Church & Aditi G. Patel called Technology for Evaluation in Fragile and Conflict-Affected States is meant for people familiar with evaluation but may be new to the many technologies being integrated into M&E work.
The paper is a guide what technologies to use and when (whether evaluation design, promoting evaluation use, or managing evaluations) and is designed so that you can jump into any section that is relevant to your work. It includes a 5-step decision filter of key questions to consider.
Though it’s not specific to legal empowerment, I thought this tool could be useful for network members considering whether and how to integrate technology into their research or evaluation!
Check it out - and feel free to share reactions, questions, and thoughts here! Are there any other factors that have helped you make decisions about how and when to use technology in evaluating legal empowerment programs?
