Raya Puncak Km.17 Cipayung, Megamendung, Bogor, which takes place Thursday-Friday (5-6 December 2019) Bogor Regency Social Service Office holds a Legal Aid Workshop for disadvantaged communities with the theme: “LBH Mechanism and Collaboration with Local Government in Handling Legal Aid to the Poor”.
In this activity the Bogor District Social Service synergized with one of the Legal Aid Institutions namely the Cibinong Community Assistance Society Association (LBHM), which is located at Jl.KSR.Dadi Kusmayadi No.22 / I, Tengah-Cibiong Village. The Cibinong LBHM Association was founded in 2010 and is one of the first LBH in Bogor Regency accredited in the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Law and Human Rights Republic of Indonesia with Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Law and Human Rights No. AHU-74.AH.01.T 2014.
LBHM Director Cibinong Davied Muraufik who was accompanied by one of the founders of LBHM Cibinong who was also Lawyer Bambang Pradityo, SH. conveyed to the media crew, "we hope that after the Workshop this time there will be sustainability from the Government, especially the Bogor District Social Service to further promote the enlightenment program and the introduction and legal training to the community, hopefully in every Sub-district or even in every Kelurahan / Desa a kind of Legal Aid Post ", said David, who is fondly called Eyang.
A similar sentiment was also conveyed by one of the founders of LBHM Cibinong who had the opportunity to attend the Workshop, "our team from LBHM Cibinong greatly appreciates the activities tonight, we are ready to assist legal assistance for the community both in terms of training or in the accompaniment if there are communities stumbling / dealing with the law ", he said. “In addition we are ready to provide legal assistance to the community, we want to also regenerate the community to become a Paralegal and are expected to be able to assist the community around their residences that stumble with the law”, he added.
The workshop was attended by 40 participants from 40 Subdistricts in Bogor Regency consisting of 18 Social Community Facilitators (PSM) and 22 Family Hope Program (PKH) assistants, and those who were speakers besides the LBH were also present from the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights West Java Province, and Cibinong District Court.
