I am a humbly person who is always wanting to assist the needy and poor people in order to change their lively hoods . I am a human rights activists working with disadvantaged people in the rural communities . By joining the network I need to be more empowered about globalisation and have more knowledge on its concept so that I can empower people about the challenges of globalization that the world is facing. I am Paralegal working at Lusikisiki Paralegal Advice Centre in a small rural town of Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape Region in South Africa. Our programs include the following Children's Rhights Program; Legal Advice and Counseling; Human Rights Eduction and Training; Social Development Youth Services and Victim Empowerment. My position in the organization is the Programs Manager and I am a former government employee. I was once working as a Nature Conservator in the Department of Agriculture this is where I gained experience on the protection of our natural resources for the benefit of both the present and future generations. Now I am more involved in victim empowerment program; we provide legal services to the abused women and children in the rural communities. in this way we promote access to the justice system by poor and marginalized people of the rural communities . in this program young victims are prepared in an empty court in order to familiarise them with court environment so that they can give evidence freely before the magistrate during trials. In these sessions children perform role plays and are educated on their rights as witnesses in courts of laws.
