A journalist with bias in development journalism,passionate about helping the young people and grassroot micro & small businesses have access to opportunities available from government and private establishments ,via B2B / B2C and collaborative efforts.As a business correspondent I have hosted food &agric shows on radio,covered many national events,MGDs,SDGs.Currently the CEO of HINENTS(Hinterland and Intra Enterprise Solutions)established to corroborate the supports of federal/ state agencies in helping the grassroot scale up and better conduct entrepreneurial activities with ease,to create wealth and employment.I have influenced establishments like IITA,SMEDAN,Havestfield,SeedfortAgro,Taskmodes to facilate agribusiness trainings and summits,involving major partners and grassroot.I am conveiner of yesAgro youths Agripreneurs.We just had another 40 trainees(2 batches, compliant with ‘distancing’ order) trained in June and empowered in agribusiness,while each was given basic farm tools,kits,and soil tester,and own 2 tractorised plots of farmland as practical with crops like cucumber,watermelon,Orange Flesh Sweet Potatoes,Sweet corn,and cowpea cultivated, to be harvested and sale themselves .
In addition,I am a trained and practicing mechanised farmer,I currently have 7 hectare to my credit,that is,4Ha Corn,3Ha Cassava,1Ha Orange Sweet Potato,2Acres Cowpea,2acres Soy beans,1Acre green beans others are food spices& medicinal/ cosmetics plants like Cilantro,Sunflower ,Cummi and Stevia.We have farmcrowdy plan in place with sponsors My expectations joining NASME are: i.Supporting the ongoing works of NASME in fostering collaboration among micro businesses owners in Nigeria. ii.To serve in given capacity as influencer &agrregator between agribusiness owners,resource providers for ease of production,local/ foreign market penetration. iii. Advocacy,marketing&promotion of NASME activities via media channels. iv. Influencing workshops planning for micro businesses esp on 'waste reduction’in business projects& operations,and how to pitch to attract financing. iv. To encourage ‘market Inventory’ services for members ,whereby a periodic assessment/business performance audit is carried out on business activities,and recommations made to aid government economic policies, hence,many MSMEs will be attracted into tax net. v.
