I am the founder of NET Africa (Natural Environmental Technology in Africa). My expertise is in environmental auditing, law, management, and assessment, with particular reference to water governance.

In Africa, to improve environmental management of water, environmental law needs to be vastly improved, the indigenous population, industry, government and all key stakeholders need to ensure that the law is not just a written document, but a document for all to access and use.

I have conducted a number of risk assessments in lake basins in Africa, with concern regarding the lack of stakeholder participation in the decision-making and legal process of how lakes are management with particular reference to indigenous women and how their legal rights are affected.
