I am a female Ugandan aged 28 years old, a lawyer by profession with a passion for advocating for human rights especially women’s rights. I studied masters degree course in women and Gender studies which has given me a deeper understanding and analysis of gender issues, women’s issues and the gaps both in law and in implementations.I have for 5 years passionately advocated for and worked on women’s land, Inheritance and property rights, and access to justice using alternative dispute resolutions, and trained paralegals.In Partnership with other organization I have been actively involved in mobilizing community and building an ecofeminist women’s movement in Uganda to attain environmental justice. In my organization, I am the legal and advocacy officer in charge of legal issues and programs on gender, and women’s rights.I am looking for opportunity to build my capacity through exchange visit, partner and collaborate with other organization share experience and best practices
