Gyansie

I am a Ghanaian Born in Ghana. I had all my education in Ghana. I am an Educationist, and I attended the University of Education, Winneba - Kumasi campus. I hold a Bachelor Degree in Technology Education. I am now the Program Manager for Resource Link Foundation (RLF), rising from Project Manager 2003 to the current position. I have gone through a number of capacity building training, including Paralegal training from FIDA Ghana. It is very important at this time to network with various human rights organizations like NIMATI for more resources and information on Paralegal issues to share with my organization and other community based organizations (CBOs) not yet reached by FIDA, so that together we can sensitize/education and and help address human rights issues in our local rural communities in Ghana.

I am a Social Worker working with an NGO to address poverty issues to improve the lives of poor rural people, especially the vulnerable (women). We promote income generating activities in the area of agriculture and agri-processing which involves land and land management issues.

I am looking for materials in community mobilisation for advocacy on land acquisition by the vulnerable in society as a right to livelihood, sustainable development, as well as other materials that would help in promoting the welfare of women in poor rural settings in Ghana.
