Mona Mahajneh is the Director of Community Work at Kayan Feminist Organization. Mona joined Kayan’s Community Department in October 2013. Before joining the team, she worked as a Project Manager at Mosaica – The Center for Inter-Religious Cooperation. In addition, Mona works as a group facilitator with different social groups including women’s and youth groups. Mona earned her B.A. in Sociology and Education at the Hebrew University and her M.A. in Group Leadership through the Arts from Lesley University. As the director for community work, she believes that engaging with other legal empowerment professionals will enhance Kayan’s ability to mobilize women to demand their rights.
