I am a lawyer and also a development worker and Human Rights activist. I am working in Friendship as a Specialist: Paralegal Program Development last five years. Responsibilities include: • Planning and managing the day-to-day implementation of project activities • Supervising the field staff and maintaining communication with Legal staff, Community Paralegal and district Legal Aid Committees in friendships working areas • Providing related legal services to the organization as per requirements • Plan and contribute to the legal awareness and advocacy program in terms of legal issues and context • Conducting training to and provide all legal support and advices to continue their work in the community • Ensure project Monitoring and Supervision to the project smoothly and timely Special skills and key qualifications : • Working at legal and compliance department directly for last all most four years under the direct supervision, instruction, direction and control of the Head of the Legal Department of Friendship • Have the experience of dealing labor court cases, review of application and providing required supports to legal aid cases • Managing 50 paralegals of 50 chars of Gaibandha and Kurigram districts by providing legal advises as per their requirements • Expertise of providing advises to clients through mobile phones and 50 paralegals are directly connected through mobile phone • Experience of Attachment with the mobile application development team for mobile app for legal services and access • Experience in providing legal advises in live TV show and FM Radio which indicates orientation with all kinds of law updates, cases and news • Being a professional and practicing lawyer, I know how to maintain and preserve notes and records • Experience in providing support to and mitigating labor court cases of RMG sector • Expertise of providing support to district court lawyers and other legal project staff in district level • Being a trail lawyer, monitoring and managing cases filed and conduct litigation regularly as and when necessary • Being the member of 2 district legal aid committee ,experience of working with Govt. legal Aid Service for last three years • Being the responsible of preparing quantitative report for annual report, project completion report on legal activities along with case studies • Many exposures and participation to National and International meeting, seminars and conference . Moreover experience of arranging lots of meeting with district legal aid Committee and district level seminar on legal issues • Member of steering committee of implementing Paraligalism in Bangladesh,Center for Peace and Justice(CPJ) BRAC University is the secretariat of steering committee where BLAST is also the member of the steering Committee • Associate editor of Paralegal Training Manual prepared and supported by all leading human rights organizations in Bangladesh and organized by Center for Peace and Justice(CPJ),
