Legal Empowerment practitioner and legal reform specialist, having worked on legal empowerment and literacy for incarcerated prisoners, religious minority communities, the poor and marginalized across the province of Sindh, Pakistan since 2012. Conducted capacity building and sensitization training for judges, police and prison officials, lawyers and master trainers on gender, religious minorities and the rights of children. Particular training experience on interactive teaching and clinical legal education.

Currently engaged in criminal justice sector reform, with a focus on the police and prosecution service in Punjab as well as institutional development of state funded legal aid in the province.

Looking for ways to incorporate legal empowerment approaches in legal literacy and legal aid programs and improving the justice sector response to legal needs.
