Anjana John is a Senior Research Associate in the Namati- CPR Environmental Justice Program, India.
In past, she has worked with the Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Contemporary Studies (New Delhi, India) as a research assistant and her task was to provide research assistance in public policy to the legislators of Indian Parliament. She has also done an internship with the National Human Rights Commission of India while pursuing her academics. Her areas of interests are tribal rights, social justice, energy and development. During her MPhil course, she has had the opportunity to work with one of India’s vulnerable tribal communities in Central India and do a primary research on how social inequalities have impacted the energy distribution process in the country.
Anjana holds a master’s in Political Science from the University of Delhi as well as an MPhil in Development Practice from Ambedkar University Delhi.
