David was born in Maputo, Mozambique. He has taken courses in Electronics and Telecommunications at the National Aeronautics School and worked as a voluntary activist with the Geração Biz program on issues of sexual and reproductive health. He has additionally been active as a field officer in the Mavalane Nucleus against drugs and AIDS. His passion for community work is driven by his conviction that health is a human right.
