I am a native of Sierra Leone born on the 4th June 1967 in a community village called Rotifunk.i did both my primary and secondary school education partly in my village and partly in the city of Freetown.Further i did my university education at Fourah Bay college and graduated in 1995 and then proceeded to the Sierra Leone Law School and was called to the Bar and enrolled as a barrister and solicitor in 1998 having passed the Bar successfully.I have been practising law doing both human rights law and criminal law,civil law inclusive.In 2009 i was awarded Master in Business Administration at the University of Sierra Leone,Institute of Public Administration and Management having fulfilled the requirements of the University.In 2014 i completed an Advocacy training programme and was awarded a certificate by the International Committee of the Advocacy Training Council UK. I have worked for many human right organisations doing pro Bono cases etc.Again i was one of those who piloted the legal aid scheme in Sierra Leone until the Legal Aid Act was passed in 2012 and now the legal aid manager and senior defence counsel.
I look forward to network,collaborate and partner with colleagues doing good work on legal empowerment especially one that has to do with traditional communities who are most vulnerable in my country.Team working with them will be great advantage.
