Ms. Jahan is a lawyer of Bangladesh Supreme Court, currently working as Programme Manager at BRAC Human Rights and Legal Aid Services Programme, Bangladesh. She has over fourteen years experience promoting human rights and rule of law. She deals with a program focusing on community intervention to policy advocacy processes related to violence against women, including implementing women’s rights related laws and policies.

Her professional skills have been enhanced over the years on project management, coordinating research, designed policy advocacy and campaign, capacity development, networking, to deal with issue of VAW prevention and protection. In recent years, she have been contributed in the formulation of the various laws, policies and plan relating to women and children rights.
