Gao Wei is now the project manager with Wuhan University Public Interest and Development law institute (PIDLI). She earns her Bachelor degree in law in Wuhan University in 2008 and the master degree in Human Rights Law in Central European University in 2010. She has started working with PIDLI since 2010 and the main project she has been in charge of is Legal Empowerment in China which involves a wide range of activities including training and research targeting various disadvantaged groups in China. She has closely worked on rural justice over the years and particularly with rural women leaders in Hubei Province in China for the past two years. She is now working on disability rights and have a particular interest on women with disabilities.
