My name is Zuberi Ngoda, I am a lawyer, activist and academician from Tanzania. I hold a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Dar es Salaam which I was awarded in 2003 and a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from Columbia University, New York, USA which I was awarded in 2009.

I am looking forward to join NAMATI to network with like minded individuals and organisations that are committed to advocate for the land rights of the poor across the world. Land is the cornerstone of human livelihood and survival. Accordingly, there is a need to make sure that land tenure benefits all equittably including the poor, the vulnerable and the marginalised sections of the society. Much legislative and policy reforms need to be advocated for to make land tenure equittable in a capitalist free market economy.
