Since 2014, I have been engaged in the multidisciplinary research led by Akiba Mashinani Trust (AMT) providing the financial perspectives to issues in land, housing and livelihoods focusing in two slums: Mukuru in Nairobi and Kiandutu in Thika. I am a tutorial fellow and PhD student at Strathmore University, a leading private university in Nairobi Kenya. I have been tutoring, researching and consulting for over 12 years now and hold an MSc in Mathematical Finance from University of Manchester and a BSC in Actuarial Science.
