A social and environmental justice advocate, I’m an indigenous defender of land and natural resources, I know that for us to turn the tide in this global crisis. My ultimate goal is to ensure that people,especially in the rural areas where these interventions are few and far between, are equipped with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions around the use and exploitation of the land we all need to survice. I also want to be able to hold duty bearers accountable to their electorate, maintain accepted standards of operation and are available to their communities so that we can start bridging the gap between the leadership and the people they are meant to serve. My community justice and empowerment work has led me on the path to securing environmental justice on pertinent issues like land and livelihood.
