I have been a human rights activist and trainer for the last 14 years, a development worker and public health fellow. I started my work in Human rights after University in 2003 and joined a government organization Uganda Human Rights Commission for five years as a volunteer. I became a ‘senior’ volunteer till i left and became an administrator in local government for another three years. I found that not fulfilling enough and quit to join CSO work that saw me campaign for the rights of vulnerable and poor people in whose work i got local awards.

I feel am where i should naturally belong and will not waiver from here again. I set up an organization to primarily build capacity of grass-root people in 2012 and to this day has seen us mediate in land based conflicts beyond the district level, make in-roads in health through research where I do invite international researchers to come and conduct high level research in our community.

Its all about passion, compassion, diligence, courage, equity and love for humanity that drives me as a person and compels colleagues to make sacrifices in hard to reach and insecure areas of our work.
