Meenakshi Kapoor has been working on environment, climate change and energy related issues since the completion of her masters program in Environment Management from Forest Research Institute in 2006. In the past, she has worked with Kalpavriksh Environment Action Group and GIZ India carrying out research projects and coordination tasks concerning environment, biodiversity, clean development mechanism and renewable energy. Being a bachelors in Education, she got drawn to working with school students and coordinated ‘Kids for Tigers’ campaign of Sanctuary Asia Magazine in Delhi NCR for a year. Since 2007, she has also been associated with Ecoexist- a social enterprise, taking care of the distribution of its eco-friendly products in Delhi.

Namati’s Environmental Justice Program, India, works in collaboration with the Centre for Policy Research.
